Geoducks Claim Victory over Bushnell

EUGENE, Ore.  – The Evergreen State men's soccer team came to town on Friday night and left with a 6-1 victory over the Beacons.  
 
The Geoducks (4-5-1, 3-2-1 CCC) scored three goals in each half and out-shot the Beacons, 20-15 in the contest. Bushnell (4-4-2, 0-4-1) held a 4-2 advantage in Corner kicks and managed eight shots-on-goal, spread out among six different players as the Beacons were able to play 23 different players in the contest.
 
Evergreen struck first, pushing across a goal in the 6th minute, only to see the Beacons quickly answer in the 10th minute as Caleb Premo scored off an assist by Francisco Cayolla.
 
Two minutes later, the Geoducks claimed the would-be game-winner and added a third goal later in the period. The second half feature three more goals for the visitors, all three off the foot of Andreas Malunat.
 
Bushnell will look to rebound on Saturday when they take on Northwest University at 4:30 pm.
