COMPLETE RESULTS | McMINNVILLE, Ore. – The Bushnell cross country teams closed out the regular season on Saturday, competing at Linfield University's George Oja Invitational at Oak Knoll Golf Course.

Kaitlin Cook was the lone competitor for the women, but she made the most of it, finishing with a new personal record at the 6000-meter distance of 24:48.7.

Kyle Will said, "Kaitlin had a great race. She had a pretty lofty goal coming out and ended up breaking 25-minutes for the first time. This was a great course and the conditions were great."

The men's race featured four personal records as the teams begins to heat up at the right time of the year.

Logan Gant, and
Wyatt Pepiot all nailed PRs, as did team-leader
Sayer Pescosolido.

"We had a great race today on the guys side and Sayer crushed it," said Will. "He had a phenomenal race. I am really impressed with the men. They are coming along. They are very tired but showing some encouraging signs as we hit the last part of the season."

Pescosolido came across the finish line in 27 minutes, 49 seconds to take 164th place and break the 28-minute barrier for the first time.

Isaac Bodley (pictured).

Now it's off to the Cascade Collegiate Conference championships, which will be hosted by the College of Idaho and take place at Fairview Golf Course in Caldwell on November 3.
