EUGENE, Ore. – The College of Idaho claimed a 5-1 victory against Bushnell on Saturday afternoon in Cascade Collegiate Conference action at the Les Schwab Sports Complex.
Â
The Yotes (4-2-1, 2-1 CCC) held an 18-8 advantage in shots and were able to put the game away with three first-half goals.
Â
Bushnell (3-4-1, 1-2) was able to avoid the shutout thanks to a strong effort from
Juan Palacios. In the 82nd minute, Palacios found the ball in the box, collected his own rebound off a shot that hit the left post, and finished the effort, finding the back of the net for the first time this season.

Head Coach
Joao Ehlers said, "Today was not our best day. We made some collective mistakes in the first half that complicated our plans and strategy. It was good, however, to see so many of our guys getting minutes and playing well in the second half. Those experiences are priceless and will pay dividends for the team."
Â
The Beacons will remain home on Saturday, hosting Eastern Oregon at 3:00 pm. The Yotes head to face undefeated Corban University.
