Bushnell hits the road for a Cascade Collegiate Conference matchup with No. 6 College of Idaho on Friday and Saturday.

LAST WEEK: Bushnell hosted Carroll College (Mont.) last weekend with the Saints winning the conference series, taking two of three games. The Saints won the opener 2-1 before the Beacons took the second game 5-1. Carroll earned the series win with an 8-5 victory on Saturday before Bushnell claimed the non-conference game 9-8 in walk-off fashion.

MEET THE BEACONS: Anabel Mendez leads the conference in batting average (.486) and is second in on-base percentage (.574) and slugging (.811). The senior has recorded a team-high 28 RBIs, nine doubles and five home runs for the Beacons this season.
Alyssa Ferreira ranks second on the team in batting with a .379 average, while
Krystal Akagi, coming off a strong weekend at the plate, is third at .293.

Sam Silver and
Aliyah Kelly split time in the circle for the Beacons. Silver holds a 4.24 ERA through 12 starts, while Kelly is at a 5.43 ERA in 13 starts. Both pitchers have thrown eight complete games.

As a team, Bushnell ranks fifth in batting (.284), fourth in on-base percentage (.372) and seventh in pitching (5.02 ERA). The Beacons lead the conference in double plays, turning 17 on the season.

MEET THE YOTES: The College of Idaho (28-8, 14-4 CCC) saw its school record 21-game winning streak end in mid-March after being swept by Oregon Tech, who was ranked No. 1 at the time. The Yotes then swept Carroll before winning a series with Eastern Oregon, 2-1.

Haley Loffer is one of the top offensive threats in the conference, ranking second in batting (.479), first in on-base percentage (.612) and third in slugging (.781). Tanner Higgins is fourth in the CCC in RBIs (34) and fifth in both batting (.424) and on-base percentage (.504).

As a team, the Yotes rank fourth in the conference in batting average (.304) and pitching (2.81 ERA). Katelyn Wilfert leads all pitchers with a 1.16 ERA, allowing just 12 earned runs through 73.1 innings pitched.
