WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Bushnell (4-2, 1-0 CCC) opened conference play with a 59-48 victory over Corban last week. Aspen Slifka led all scorers with 16 points and nine rebounds. The Beacons continue CCC action with games against Multnomah and Warner Pacific this weekend.
 
MILESTONE WATCH: Aspen Slifka needs just three three-pointers take over second place on the career three-pointers list. She is currently sitting at 132. With three blocks in Tuesday's contest against Corban, Libby Mathis now has 43 in her career, placing her among the top-ten in the Bushnell record book.
 
MULTNOMAH: The Lions (3-2, 1-0 CCC) opened the conference slate with an 83-78 win over Warner Pacific after shooting 58.2% on the game. Multnomah is now averaging 77.2 points per game, second in the conference. Defensively, the Lions are allowing 68.8 points per contest, 11th in the CCC.
 
Four Lions are averaging double-digit scoring, led by Shaila Mays, who is averaging 16.6 points per game (5th in CCC). Alaygza Portis is averaging 10.8 points and 8.4 rebounds (5th) per contest.
 
The Beacons are 13-2 overall in the all-time series with Multnomah and have won the last six.
 
WARNER PACIFIC: The Knights (0-4, 0-1 CCC) come into the weekend searching for their first win. As a team, WPU is averaging 55.3 points per game and allowing 70 points per game, ranking them 12th in the conference in both categories.
 
McKeeley Tonkin leads the Knights in scoring, averaging 12.3 points per game.
 
The Beacons are 19-16 all-time against the Knights. WPU took both games last season, 81-58 in Portland and 67-52 in the Morse Center.

The Beacons (2-3, 0-1 CCC) continue Cascade Conference action this weekend at home against Multnomah and Warner Pacific, looking to rebound from an 84-66 loss to Corban in their conference opener last week. 
 
MULTNOMAH: The Lions are off to a 4-2 start to the season, but dropped their Cascade Conference opener at Warner Pacific last week, 79-70.  MU leads the conference in scoring, averaging 90.8 points per game. They are eighth defensively, allowing 79.8 ppg.
 
Individually, Zach Richardson leads the conference in scoring for the Lions, averaging 19.8 points per game. Tyrese Taylor averages 16.4 points per game. He leads the CCC and is fifth in the NAIA with 12.2 rebounds per contest.
 
The Lions are coming off their best season in school history after they went 13-18 and qualified for the CCC tournament for the first time. Bushnell holds a 17-3 lead in the all-time series with Multnomah, but the teams have split their last six meetings, 3-3. MU has only won once in nine games at the Morse Center.
 
WARNER PACIFIC: The Knights are 3-2 to start the season and defeated Multnomah in their CCC opener last week. Warner Pac is seventh in the CCC in scoring (73.8 ppg) and sixth in scoring defense, allowing 73.8 ppg as well.
 
Thomas Miles leads the way for WPU, averaging 19.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game He also leads the conference in free-throw shooting (.955) and steals (2.5 pg).
 
Last season, Bushnell and Warner Pacific split their series as the Beacons won in Eugene, 68-51. The Knights lead the all-time series, which dates back to the 1990's, 38-15, but the Beacons have won four of the last seven meetings.
 

ESPORTS

Valorant - Wednesday 11/30 vs. Kilgore College, 5:30 pm (Video Stream)
 
Bushnell Valorant advanced to the NACE Varsity Plus West Central Divisional Championship following a 2-1 (16-14, 13-8) victory over George Fox in the Round of 4. The Beacons take on Kilgore College on Wednesday, a team they beat 2-1 (7-13, 13-9, 13-8) in the regular season. The match with KC will be the last of the season for Bushnell.
