LA GRANDE, Ore. – Bushnell took care of business on Friday afternoon as the No. 4 seeded Beacons swept their quarterfinal match with No. 5 seed Evergreen, 25-14, 26-24, 25-23.

The victory gave the Beacons (20-11) their second consecutive 20-win season and a trip to the semifinal round where they will face top-seeded Eastern Oregon University at 7:30 pm on Friday night.

Bushnell was led by
Jessica Northcutt, collecting 11 kills.
Payton Jones added eight kills and four blocks while
Matty Ladd (pictured) led all players with five blocks.
Callie Wilkins collected 14 digs and three of Bushnell's 11 service aces.

Senior
Makenna Northern collected 33 assists, out-playing CCC Setter of the Year Sierra Wolff who finished with 29. Â

The Geoducks (14-13) were led by Zoe Shaw with a match-high 14 kills. Rylee Grams posted a match-high 16 digs in the loss. Â

"Our serve and pass game was steady from start to finish," said Head Coach
Jason Corwin. "We stayed calm and confident closing out sets two and three. It was a good win against a good team.

"Today was about truly playing this game like it was our last because it really could have been," added Jones. "We took care of business and persevered even when were down, and we are ready to go again later tonight."
