Argos Make Second-Half Comeback

GREAT FALLS, Mont.  – The University of Providence erased a two-goal halftime deficit to defeat the visiting Bushnell University women's soccer team, 3-2, in Cascade Collegiate Conference action.
 
Dejah Wallot scored two goals in the first half for the Beacons (0-13, 0-8 CCC), moving the senior into a tie for ninth on Bushnell's single-season goals list with five. Both scores were assisted by Karla Cardinal.
 
The Argos (2-8-1, 2-5-1) outshot the Beacons 11-4 in the second half. Brittany Burman got the scoring started two minutes into the period. Danielle Chang recorded the equalizer in the 62nd minute and Ernestina Serwaa knocked in the match-winner in the 74th minute of play.
 
Wallot led the Beacons with three shots, all on goal. Emily Puita and Sydney Petersen finished with two shots apiece.
 
Up next, Bushnell takes on Rocky Mountain College on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
