PORTLAND, Ore. – The Bushnell men's soccer team found themselves in unfamiliar territory on Saturday as they lost to Multnomah University for the first time, 4-1, in Cascade Collegiate Conference action.

The Beacons (3-7-1, 1-5 CCC), who had won the first seven meetings between the schools, were out-shot 15-7 in the contest and managed three shots on goal.
Alejandro Munoz connected for the lone goal for the Beacons off an assist from
Caleb Premo, scoring in the 69th minute to help the Beacons avoid the shutout after falling behind 3-0.

Joao Ehlers said, "We started the game very slow today and that influenced the outcome of the match. We now look forward to fixing a couple aspects during the week, in order to have a better performance next weekend."

Bushnell continues their current six-match road trip next Friday, traveling to take on Northwest University (4-5-2, 2-3-1) at 3:00 pm.
