ROCKLIN, Calif. – The visiting Bushnell University women's soccer team was shut out 4-0 by William Jessup in Saturday's non-conference contest at Jessup Field.

Bushnell (1-1) trailed just 1-0 at the break, but a 20-0 shots advantage by William Jessup (1-2) in the second half propelled the Warriors to their first win of the season. Â

The Warriors got on the scoreboard in the 20
th minute when Kye Johnson, who finished with two goals and an assist, sent a pass across the box to Nadia Vazquez who tapped in a shot at the goal line for the 1-0 lead.

The Beacons got off four shots in a span of two minutes, including a 31
st-minute attempt from
Jamie Figueredo that hit the cross bar, but were unable to get by Warriors' goalkeeper Rachel Cooper-Huber. Bushnell took all seven of its shots in the first half, led by
Trinity Hazelitt's two attempts.

William Jessup found the net three times in the second half, starting with a goal from Johnson less than five minutes in. Johnson scored her second in the 72
nd minute followed by a goal from Lauren (McDougal) Case two minutes later.

Anabel Mendez recorded 10 saves for the Beacons.
