Winners of five of their last six matches, the Beacons (9-2, 5-2 CCC) head into the weekend in a three-way tie for third-place in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. They open up against one of those teams with whom they are tied in the Evergreen Geoducks (5-3, 5-2).

The Geoducks have signature CCC wins this season against Southern Oregon University and Northwest, and come in as winners of three of their last four. Zoe Shaw and Lily Stewart lead the way for ESC, combining to take over half of the attack attempts on the team. Stewart leads the way with 100 kills and 24 blocks and also leads the team with 17 service aces.

The Beacons have had their fair share of success against Evergreen, going 18-9 in the all-time series, but the Geoducks got the better of Bushnell the last time the teams faced off in Olympia, winning 3-1 back in 2019. The teams have split their season series in each of the last three seasons in which they competed.

Bushnell moves on to Kirkland on Saturday, looking for their third straight win against the Eagles. Northwest holds a 17-10 margin in the all-time series. They are led by setter Anna Saelens, who is tied with Bushnell's Makenna Northern for the top spot in the CCC, averaging 9.8 assists per set. Abby Broussard owns the most service aces in the conference with 26, and ranks 37th in the NAIA with 0.58 per set.

Fresh off of their first victory of the season, Bushnell (1-4, 1-1 CCC) will face a strong test on the road, traveling to face Eastern Oregon (1-4, 1-1 CCC) on Friday. The Mounties are also coming in off their first win of the season, after defeating Multnomah 1-0 last weekend.

EOU is 4-1 all-time against the Beacons and Bushnell won the last meeting between the schools in 2019, a 1-0 win at home.

The College of Idaho (3-1, 1-1) is 17-4 against Bushnell in the all-time series and has won two straight. The last win in the series for the Beacons came in 2017. This year the Yotes have started strong, averaging nearly three goals per game. Caio Pereira leads the way with four goals and one assist on the young season, including a game-winner.

The Beacons (2-4, 0-1 CCC) will aim to rebound from a loss to Carroll College in the CCC opener, but the task will not be easy as they face the No. 13 ranked Mounties on Friday.

After a 4-0 loss to No. 4 Spring Arbor in their season opener, EOU (5-1, 2-0) has not allowed another goal against them and comes in off a 10-0 rout of Multnomah. Eastern Oregon is 12-3 in the all-time series with the Beacons and have won three straight.

Saturday will see the Beacons travel to Caldwell to face The College of Idaho (5-2, 2-0). The Yotes have won four straight coming into the weekend and ahven't allowed a goal since September 4. C of I holds an 11-2 margin all-time against the Beacons and have won six in row. Bushnell will be looking for their first win in the series since 2013.
