BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- The Bushnell men's golf team sits in fourth place after 36 holes of the British Columbia Invitational, taking place at the Sudden Valley Golf Course.
Caden Stubbs rebounded from an 81 in the opening round, closing the day with a 70 to come in at seven-over par (12th place) to lead the Beacons.
Andrew Webb was close behind in 13th, shooting a 75-77—152.
Ethan de Graff of UBC leads the Cascade Collegiate Conference season-opening tournament, finishing two-under par to help the Thunderbirds gain a 10-stroke lead (578) over second-place Lewis-Clark State College (588).
Multnomah is in third (618), while Bushnell scored a 629 to finish one stroke ahead of fifth-place Oregon Tech (630). The College of Idaho sits in sixth (645), followed by Walla Walla (652) and Corban (661).
Newcomer
Benjamin Lovrod is in 23rd (161) for the Beacons, followed by
Jackson Muramoto in 28th (165) and
Connor Maloney in 41st (179).
The final 18 holes will begin Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
