PORTLAND, Ore. – Nick Evans scored on two penalty kicks within three minutes of each other, allowing Warner Pacific University to claim a 2-1 victory over Bushnell on Monday in Cascade Collegiate Conference action.
It was the Beacons who claimed the early lead in the contest as

Zach Reese.
The lead disappeared with the first penalty kick in the 36th minute and the Knights took the game-winner in the 39th.
Warner Pacific held a 29-9 lead in shots in the contest and Bushnell keeper
Zach Cisneros earned five saves as the Knights took seven shots-on-goal.
After the game, head coach
Erik Carrazco said, "That is a tough way to lose on two PK's in such a short span of time. I love that we continue to find the back of the net which was something we struggled with for much of the season. The boys are starting to create more opportunities. This team is really resilient and gritty and they battle until the end."
Bushnell will close out the season on Tuesday, playing Warner Pacific once more at 2:00 pm.
