EAGLE POINT, Ore. – After 36 holes, Bushnell junior
Andrew Webb is in first place at the Oregon Tech Invitational, taking place at Eagle Point Golf Club.
In the first Cascade Collegiate Conference counter of the season, Webb shot rounds of 73 and 74 to come in at three-over par. Corban's Kasey Crossland followed with a 75-75—150 to hold second.
After the round, Webb was focused on team success, stating, "Everyone played hard and stayed patient today. The course was fun if you embraced its many challenges. I think we are in a good position and I hope we can get the job done with a few adjustments."
As a team, the Beacons currently sit in third-place, having scored a 627. Oregon Tech leads at 620, followed by Multnomah in second at 624. In their first conference event, CCC newcomer Lewis-Clark State College is in fourth place (631) followed by Corban (641), College of Idaho (642) and Walla Walla (716).

Larry Watts said, "The team faced some tough weather conditions today, along with a tough course set up. I think if we make some better decisions and stay committed to our process, we are capable of some better results."
Webb was the only Bushnell golfer in the top-ten, but
Jon Holzgang was close behind in 11th, shooting a 156. Cade Stubbs followed in 19th (161),
Cole Radbourne sits in 24th (165) and
Connor Maloney is 26th (166).
Playing as an individual in his first official tournament with the Beacons, mid-year transfer
Jackson Muramoto shot a 76-83—159 and is in 16th.
Bushnell closes out the tournament with Tuesday's third round.
