EUGENE, Ore. – Six players scored in double-figures on Friday as the Beacons cruised to a 98-58 victory over Multnomah University.

The Beacons (3-2, 2-1) scored their highest total of the season and did so behind the strength of 54% shooting and 13 three-pointers. They out-rebounded the Lions 43-28 and held a 25-5 margin in assists.

Chad Meadors said, "We are getting better and we want to continue to do things to the high standard that we set for ourselves. We started slow today and we needed to get quicker to the ball and by the last six minutes we were really sharp and overall I was really pleased with what I saw out there."

Aspen Slifka was the high scorer for the Beacons, hitting four three-pointers and finishing with 19.
Kayce Mock added 13 points while
Sarah Reinecker,
Olivia Bailon, and
Libby Mathis posted 11 points each.
Aly Mirabile scored 10 points in a well-rounded game for the Beacons that saw no player on the court for more than 22 minutes.
Morgan McKinney had a quiet night on offense with four points but added game-highs with nine rebounds and eight assists.

The Lions (0-10, 0-3 CCC) were led by Maddie Hill, scoring 18 points and five rebounds. Katie Skramstad added 14 while Payton Wangler posted ten.

The Beacons will look to make it back-to-back wins over Multnomah on Saturday when the teams face off again at 1:00 pm.
