EUGENE, Ore. – Every available player saw at least ten minutes on the floor for the Bushnell women's basketball team on Saturday as the Beacons claimed a steady 84-51 win over Multnomah University in Cascade Collegiate Conference action.
Â
The Beacons (4-2, 3-1 CCC) shot 50% from three-point range in the game, hitting 13 triples. They went 6-for-8 from beyond the arch in the first quarter as they established a 27-11 lead.

"I thought we were pretty locked in tonight," said head coach
Chad Meadors. "Our starters really came out and set the tone and allowed us to get everyone some playing time and game experience. I was really impressed with our girls running our defensive system, and offensively playing at the tempo we want to play."
Â
Aspen Slifka once again led the scoring effort, punching in 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting. The sophomore added five rebounds and a game-leading three blocks. Freshman
Aly Mirabile continued to make her presence felt, scoring 11 points along with game-highs of six rebounds and six assists.

Reigning CCC Player of the Year
Morgan McKinney led all players with four steals, adding five points, four rebounds, and three assists as she continues to do what is needed to keep the team on the right track. Meadors said, "Every team we play is focused in on Morgan and Morgan is making every correct play. She shoots when she should and makes the right passes to the right girls to get everyone involved. She knows her teammates are more than capable of making the plays and it is really cool to see so much ability out there working together."
Â
Multnomah (0-11, 0-4 CCC) was led by Alaygza Portis, scoring a game-high 21 points. Madding Hill added 11 points while Claire Faber secured six rebounds.
