EUGENE, Ore. – The Evergreen State University produced six goals in the second half to own a 7-0 victory over Bushnell on Friday afternoon in Cascade Collegiate Conference men's soccer action.
Bushnell (1-9, 1-6 CCC) was out-shot just 22-17 in the game, but had a tough time stopping the Geoducks who connected on seven of their 11 shots-on-goal.
The game remained scoreless until the 40th minute when ESC broke through with a Maxton Hauser goal after a corner kick from Graham Hattan. Hattan, a Eugene native, went on to score the final two goals of the game for Evergreen (2-6-2, 2-3-2).
"Today was a tough loss," said head coach
Will Hander. "We did some things well but we beat ourselves with mental errors. We look forward to regrouping and getting ready for tomorrow."
The Beacons return to the pitch at 12:30 pm on Saturday, taking on Northwest University (6-4-2, 2-3).
