This month, the Northwest Christian University will celebrate the beginning of Bushnell University with a look back at the last ten years, presenting the All-Decade Team from each team over the past ten seasons. Considerations included national and conference honors, career bodies of work, outstanding single seasons and impact on team success. Coaches were not involved in the selection process.


Cassie (Bishop) Ahrens (2008-2011)

• Played her final season in the decade
• Three-time All-CCC
• Career record holder for total bases and walks
• Ranks in NCU career top-5 in 15 categories
• Member of NCU Athletic Hall of Fame

 
Brooke Davis (2009-2012)

• Three-time All-CCC, two first-team honors
• Five-time CCC Player of the Week
• Still holds NAIA records for home runs in a game (3)
• Career record holder for wins, WHIP
• Ranks No. 2 all-time for innings pitched, strikeouts, saves

 
Parker (Bonife) Fritter (2013-2016)

• Two-time All-CCC, one first-team honor
• Ranks No. 2 for single-season home runs, hitting streak, extra-base hits, and total bases.
• Career-record holder for home runs and RBI

 
Jessica Garner (2016-2019)

• Two-time All-CCC, one first-team honor
• Single-season record holder for games, runs, hits, stolen bases
• Career-record holder for games, at bats, runs, hits, stolen bases

 
Addy Hoskins (2012-2015)

• 2014 All-CCC Honorable Mention
• Ranks No. 3 all-time for sacrifice hits
• Ranks in the top-10 in six career categories

 
Emma Jegtvig (2018-2020)

• 2019 All-CCC second-team
• Produced best pitching season of the decade in 2019
• Decade single-season leader for starts, complete games, innings pitched, strikeouts, wins, ERA
• Ranks No. 3 all-time for strikeouts, fourth for innings pitched, starts

 
Randi Kostner (2013-2015)

• Single-game record for steals (3)
• Ranks  No. 4 all-time for runs, No. 5 for doubles, and No. 7 for triples

 
Megan (Mazanec) Manis (2009-2012)

• Played two seasons in the decade
• Four-Time Cascade Conference Golden Glove winner at third base
• Holds Career records for sacrifice hits and assists
• Holds single-season record for fielding percentage

 
Gabby Stover (2011-2014)

• Two-time All-CCC, one first-team honor
• Single-season record holder for runners caught stealing.
• Career-record holder for doubles, multi-hit games, hit-by-pitch
