EUGENE, Ore. – The first NAIA Women's Basketball National Rating of the season, and the first with the newly merged Division I and Division II schools represented, was released on Wednesday and Bushnell University placed in the "Receiving Votes" category.

The defending CCC Champion Beacons are second among schools from the Cascade Collegiate Conference, following Lewis-Clark State who is also receiving votes.

The first top-25 list with the merged divisions featured 16 teams from the former Division I and 9 teams from the former Division II. Only three DII schools cracked the Top-10. The Beacons ended the 2019-2020 season ranked No. 12 in the NAIA Division II poll.

The basketball season's start date was pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic but is expected to start on December 4 with Bushnell traveling to Portland to take on Multnomah University. The CCC Championship Tournament, present by U.S. Bank, starts Feb. 23 on campus sites.
