Beacons Fall to Argos, 7-0

Great Falls, MT. - The Northwest Christian women's soccer team lost 7-0 to Providence University on Saturday behind six first half goals.  

Senior Eme McLaughlin led the Argos (4-8, 3-5 CCC) with four first half goals. Shawnae Inama, Shayenn Thompson and Soraya Alfaro each added solo goals in the victory. The Beacons were outshot 22-4. 

Taylor Bryant led all Beacons (2-11, 1-7) with two shot attempts while Trina Beecher and Amanda Whitten each had one shot attempt. Senior goalkeeper Katie Hastings had six saves in the loss.  

The Beacons will next play on Friday, October 18 as they take on Oregon Tech at Les Schwab Park at 3:00 pm.
