Argos Shutout Beacons

Great Falls, MT. - After scoring one goal in the first period the University of Providence was able to score two second half goals to secure the 3-0 victory over Northwest Christian University on Saturday.   

George Holloway led the University of Providence (7-3-1, CCC 5-3) scoring two goals which were both assisted by Alain Murhula. The third goal was credited as a team goal for the Argos as they were able to outshoot the Beacons 28-7.  

Diesuon Alix led the Beacons (2-7, 2-6) with two shots on goal while Ozzie Ramirez and Paul Zarkin each had two shot attempts. Junior goalkeeper Chris Kirby had 10 saves in the loss.  

The Beacons will next play on Friday, October 18 as they take on Oregon Tech in a home match at 12:30 pm.
