Helena, MT. -  The Northwest Christian University men's soccer team fell short on the road Friday as they lost to Carroll College 2-0. After a 0-0 first half the Saints were able to pull away from the Beacons in the second half with two goals to give them the home victory.   
 
The Saints (5-5, CCC 4-3) first goal came in the 49th minute from Rory Bloy on an assist by Paolo Georgiades. The second and final goal came from Leo Georgiades in the 71st minute on the double assist from Damian Fraga and Paolo Georgiades. The Saints outshot the Beacons 17-9.  

Christoph Mai led the Beacons ( 2-6, CCC 2-5) with three shot attempts while senior goalkeeper Julian Hernandez had five saves in the match.  

The Beacons look to bounce back Saturday as they travel to Great Falls, Montana to take on the University of Providence (6-3-1, CCC 4-3) at 12pm PST.
