KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.  – The Cascade Collegiate Conference men's soccer season hit the half-way point on Sunday as the Beacons fell to Oregon Tech, 3-0.
 
OIT out-shot the Beacons 21-9 in the contest and peppered NCU keeper 
Julian Hernandez with 12 shots-on-goal. The Owls scored once in the first half as Joey Driessen took a pass from Daniel Blessinger in the middle of the box.
 
Two more goals came across in the second half, first in the 58th minute followed by one more in the 66th.
 
Hernandez made eight saves for the Beacons (2-7-1, 1-4-1 CCC), a season high. Both 
Nicolas Schapochnik and 
Luis Diaz (pictured) had a pair of shots in the game to lead the team.
 
NCU will play their fourth of seven straight road games next Saturday when they travel to take on No. 18 Corban University in Salem at 7:00 pm.
