PORTLAND, Ore. – Warner Pacific closed out the Beacons with a 2-0 victory on Saturday afternoon in the final women's soccer game of the season for both schools.
Warner Pacific (4-10-2, 2-7-2 CCC) outshot the Beacons 12-7 in the game and owned a 4-2 edge in shots-on-goal. Their first goal came just before the end of the first half when Joie Lopez took a pass from Claudia Flores and cracked the game-winner from 18-yards away.
The Knights went on to score an insurance goal in the 58th minute as Kayla Currin tapped in a corner kick from Staci Tatum.
Katie Hastings finished the game with two saves for the Beacons (1-12, 1-10 CCC).
