Â
Things weren't looking good early for the visitors as Warner Pacific scored in the fourth minute. A quick free-kick attempt from just outside the 18-yard box by Artur Pereira came while NCU was still setting their defense and the ball trickled into the right corner despite the diving attempt from sophomore keeper

Â
The score remained 1-0 through the remainder of the first half and most of the second, but with just under 12 minutes remaining in regulation, the Beacons finally came up with the tying strike. A headed pass from
Kaj Feddersen found Zephaniah Hollins who successfully punched in the point-blank blast.
Â
Later, in the fifth minute of overtime, a failed clearance pass by the Knight defensive line resulted in a high bouncing ball that Elghanai tracked and drop-kicked into the middle of the net from eight yards out.
Â
The Beacons (7-7-2, 7-4-2 CCC) finished the game with an 8-6 shot margin including six shots-on-goal. Olvera needed to make just two saves as WPC owned three shots-on-goal in the contest.
