WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The Northwest Christian University volleyball team got back to .500 in Cascade Collegiate Conference action on Friday, sweeping Walla Walla University 25-9, 25-16, 25-21.

The Beacons dominated in every facet of the game. NCU hit .179 while holding the Wolves to a .052 attack percentage. The Beacons held a 46-38 advantage in digs, a 9-6 edge in blocks and had ten service aces while being aced just twice.

NCU (5-7, 3-3 CCC) was led by junior
Keri Schwarz (pictured), putting together her best effort since transferring to the Beacons this season. Schwarz finished with five kills and led all players with seven blocks and five service aces, both season highs.
Kendall Bergsten led all players with 11 kills.
Maci Beierle owned 14 assists and five blocks while
Haley Damian led all players with 13 digs.

Walla Walla (0-6, 0-5 CCC) was led by Lauren Barlow with eight kills off the bench. Krista Shafer finished with ten assists and eight digs.

The Beacons will continue their current three-week long road trip next weekend, traveling back to Washington next Friday to take on Northwest University at 7 p.m.
