Corban Remains Undefeated After Visit to Eugene

EUGENE, Ore. - The Corban University men's soccer team, ranked No. 11 in the NAIA, continued their season-long shutout-streak on Saturday with a 3-0 win over Northwest Christian University. The Warriors have now gone 900 minutes without allowing a goal.

Corban showed their defensive prowess all night, allowing the Beacons just four shots, including three shots-on-goal. The Warriors collected 19 shots of their own including seven from junior Forward Quamie Dinnall.

Dinnal was active all evening and had his hand in the Warriors first two goals, getting assists on both. In the tenth minute his forward pass to Nathaniel Cheney created a five-yard strike for the eventual game-winner.

In the 50th minute he sent a short crossing pass into the box where Armando Guevara buried the close-range strike.

Corban added on an insurance goal in the 78th minute. A long throw-in from James Williamson found Josh Escobar at the top of the 18. Escobar flicked the ball on to Kemar Prince who buried the long missile.

Levi Davidson collected five saves in goal for the Beacons. TJ Burton, Chris Hendler and Isaiah Blake (pictured) each had shots on goal for NCU.

The Beacons will be back in action on Friday when they play host to Rocky Mountain at 4:30 pm.
