LA GRANDE, Ore. - The NCU men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Eastern Oregon University on Saturday afternoon. 

The Beacons had just four shots on the afternoon including one shot on goal from senior Isaiah Blake. Despite a 20-shot onslaught from the Mounties, NCU surrendered just the one goal as Jesus Trejo scored unassisted, four minutes into the second half. 

NCU keeper John Castro (pictured) made five saves while Alfredo Lara needed just one save for his second shutout of the weekend. Eastern Oregon (6-8, 5-7 CCC) upset No. 10 Corban University on Friday night, 2-0. 

The Beacons will close out the 2015 season next weekend, traveling to face Evergreen on Friday and Northwest on Saturday. Both games are scheduled for 4:00 pm kick offs.
