REDDING, Calif. - Northwest Christian grabbed just two hits, dropping their penultimate game in the Simpson University tournament on Saturday afternoon, 3-2 to Menlo College. 

Three pitchers combined to pitch for NCU with Becca Lillegard (0-2) taking the loss. Brooke Davis and Chelsea Hannon snagged the only hits for the Beacons in the game. 

NCU will close out their opening tournament at 7:00 on Saturday night, facing #1 California Baptist University (9-0).
