CALDWELL, Idaho – The College of Idaho, ranked #6 in the NAIA, flexed their muscles on Saturday night, sweeping Northwest Christian, 25-8, 25-13, 25-17.

The Beacons (6-16, 1-12 CCC) had a negative hitting percentage for the second straight night, getting 15 kills up against 23 attacking errors. Cassie Bishop (pictured) led the team with five kills. Mercedes LeClaire had ten digs and Whitney Hoff had nine assists to lead the Beacons.

The College of Idaho (16-2, 12-1 CCC) was led by Kristin Henning, who went 10-for-14 on offense without an error to hit .714. She also had four blocks as the Yote out-blocked NCU, 7-5.

Northwest Christian will be back in action on Friday as they play host to Warner Pacific University at 7 pm.
