Corey Anderson

Corey Anderson begins his first season as the Head Coach for NCU men's basketball. Anderson has been the Athletic Director at Northwest Christian University since 2005 and was an assistant with the Beacons for five years. 

In seven seasons as the head boys basketball coach at Marist HS, Anderson set a school record for wins and led the Spartans to six state tournament appearances, earning four trophies. In 2001, Marist won the 3A State Championship after a 21-9 season, earning Anderson the OACA Coach of the Year award. He also earned Sky-Em League Coach of the Year honors in 2003.

Prior to his stint with the varsity team, Anderson coached the Freshman team for one season, registering a 21-1 season. Anderson also had a three-year coaching stint with the JV squad at Willamette HS.

Anderson graduated from the University of Oregon in 1994 with a BA in Recreational Management. While at the U of O he was a Student Assistant and Team Manager with the men's basketball program under Head Coach Jerry Green.

Anderson and his wife Holly live in Eugene. They have three boys; JJ, Jackson, and Cooper.
