Lind returned to Bushnell in 2025 as the Director of Esports after helping to launch the Esports program in 2018, bringing in nine Overwatch players for a highly successful first season in which they went 19-6.
 
Lind holds two bachelor's degrees from Bushnell in History and Teacher Education and his extensive background in esports includes involvement with Salem-based Satellite Gaming.
 
"We are thrilled to welcome Taylor Lind back to Bushnell as our Director of Esports," said Bushnell Associate Athletic Director Sarah Freeman. "As our original director, Taylor laid the foundation for our program, and his return brings renewed energy and direction. His passion for student development and competitive excellence makes him the perfect leader to guide us into this next chapter."
 
Lind said, "I am excited to be back at Bushnell coaching esports again. I have loved this program since helping start it six years ago and have cheered from afar as it grew after my first stint. I think Corey Anderson, Sarah Freeman and Kelsey Segren have put together an incredible team to continue to build something special here and I am thankful to them for the opportunity to be a part of it."

Coach Lind has been heavily involved in the esports world for over a decade, first as a competitive Halo 3 player and more recently with Satellite Gaming. Lind is a 2014 graduate of NCU, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. He also grew up locally and graduated from Springfield High School.
