Coach Jamie Womack

Jamie Womack

Womack has been with the program since it’s inception in 2022 and became the head coach heading into the 2025 season. He served from 2022-2025 as an assistant coach and the recruiting coordinator and played a large role in quickly developing a roster that has increased in wins every season and in 2024 won the Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament and qualified for the NAIA National Championship.

In his first year at the helm, Womack led the Beacons to a 32-20 record and a second consecutive trip to the CCC tournament, going 22-15 in the CCC to take fourth place. Bushnell was 23-6 at home including eight walk-off wins, going 9-3 in one-run games and a perfect 3-0 in extra innings. The Beacons also went .500 against teams ranked in the NAIA Top-25 and they received votes in the NAIA national coaches poll during the year.

Womack originally came to the Beacons from Hesston College in Kansas, where he served one season as an assistant and recruiting coordinator. He also spent one year in the same role at Southwestern Oregon Community College.

Womack, who played high school ball at Churchill High, returned to the Eugene area in 2021 to join Tommy Richards’ inaugural staff.

Womack played collegiately at William Jessup University, where he graduated in 2019 with a bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology. He will complete his Master of Sports Management degree at Bushnell this August.

Coach Womack lives in Eugene with his daughter, Amber.
