Jamie Figueredo joined the Bushnell athletic staff as the Counselor Coordinator for the Student-Athlete Mental Health Program in 2026.

As a former student-athlete for the Beacons, Figueredo has a passion for removing barriers, increasing accessibility and reducing stigma of mental health resources for student-athletes.

Figueredo earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bushnell (then Northwest Christian University) in 2021 and went on to receive her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bushnell in 2026. She was a Chi Sigma Iota Counseling and Professional Honor Society inductee while earning her post-baccalaureate degree. She is certified as a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Figueredo also currently practices at Collective Elements Psychotherapy as a professional counseling associate providing individual therapy for teens and adults.

While an undergrad at Northwest Christian University, Figueredo was a four-year starter on the Beacons Women's Soccer team. She was a three-time Academic All-Conference and NAIA Scholar Athlete selection, and an inductee into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Scholar-Athlete Honor Society. She was a valued member of the program and a two-time captain, earning Most Valuable Newcomer as a freshman and Most Inspirational as a senior.
