2024: Made 15 appearances during his first season with the Beacons, including eight starts...led the team in innings pitched with 50.1...started the CCC Tournament Championship game...named to the Athletic Director's honor roll in the spring. 

Previous Collegiate Experience: Played two seasons at JCCC under coach Eric Horner...posted 28 appearances on the mound…two-time first-team All-Jayhawk Conference selection and second-team All-Region 6/Plains District accolades...finished Cavalier career with 22 starts out of 28 appearances totaling a 3.56 ERA with 150 strikeouts…earned NJCAA All-Academic third-team honors...made three appearances at Michigan State last season.

High School Experience: Played for coach Brian Driskell at Grain Valley High School...earned second-team Examiner All-Area and All-Suburban Blue Conference as a junior...recorded a 3-2 record with 2.80 ERA and 47 strikeouts in 34 innings pitched during junior season…earned Preseason All-American by Perfect Game prior to his senior year…helped GVHS win back-to-back conference titles in 2018 and 2019.

Personal: Born on July 4...son of Tandy and Jim Chapman...majoring in Kinesiology to become a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level...enjoys fishing, working out and cooking.
