Biography

2011-2012: [Cross Country] Ran in one race for the Beacons as a freshman...took 223rd place at the Willamette Invitational, establishing a personal best 26:00. [Track] Did not participate in track while recovering from injury.

High School Experience: Ran four years of track and cross country at Firebaugh High for coach Pedro Martinez...earned All-League honors in cross country during all four years...best league finish was second place...also played soccer for the Eagles for three years and was twice named team MVP.

Personal: Born on March 23, 1993 in Fresno, Calif...daughter of Cristina and Pedro Martinez...enjoys collecting stickers and making bracelets...plays the flute...majoring in exercise science.
