Biography
2020: Participated in the 4x400, high jump and long jump during her senior season.
2019: Qualified for CCC Championship in the long jump and high jump...posted Long Jump PR (4.75m/CCC)...posted season-best 1.54m in the high jump on two occasions...took eighth at CCC championship in the high jump...also competed in volleyball for the Beacons and was named team MVP, First-Team All-CCC and NAIA All-American honorable mention.
2018: Competed in the high jump for the Beacons as a junior...earned All-CCC honors with a second-place finish, hitting a school-record 1.60m...named NCU's top newcomer...also competed for the NCU volleyball team and was named Offensive Player of the Year.
Previous Collegiate Experience: Did not compete in track but played two years of volleyball at Highline College...earned First-Team All-NWAC honors and was the West Region MVP as a sophomore.
High School Experience: Played four years on varsity at Northwest Christian High for coach Mike Michaels...was a highly decorated three-sport athlete, earning multiple All-Pacific League honors is track, basketball, and volleyball..was two-time League MVP for volleyball.
Personal: Born in Bremerton, Washington...birthday is August 5...daughter of Tricia and Travis Van Marter...enjoys art and the beach....majoring in Teacher Education...aspires to become an elementary school teacher.
