Biography
2015-2016: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in six races as a junior...set a personal record with a 17:44 at the Inland Empire Challenge...scored points for the Beacons at the NAIA National Championship, taking 90th place to help secure the national title for the Beacons. TRACK - Specialized in the 3000m Steeplechase, qualifying for the CCC and NAIA National Championships...hit a PR of 11:10.16 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival on April 1...took second place at the CCC Championship to earn All-Conference honors...finished 12th at the NAIA National Championship.
2014-2015: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in six races for the Beacons as a sophomore...broke her personal record with a time of 21:07 at the Willamette Invitational. TRACK - Ran 800m, 1500m, and Steeplechase events during the season...broke her 1500m PR by more than 16 seconds with a 4:56.61 at the Jenn Boyman Memorial Invitational...Earned Academic All-Conference honors.
2013-2014: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in five events for the Beacons as a freshman...set a personal record of 21:49 at the NCU-OIT Dual Meet. TRACK - Ran the 1500m event for NCU...set a PR of 5:12.25 at the Lane Preview Meet.
High School Experience: Ran four years on varsity at Thurston High for coach Nick Wing...CROSS COUNTRY: Named Rookie of the Year as a freshman...earned team MVP honors as a junior and senior...TRACK: Named Rookie of the Year as a freshman...also played one season of basketball for the Colts.
Personal: Born on March 17, 1995 in Eugene, Ore...daughter of Robyn and Jean Gale...enjoys reading and playing the piano...aspires to become a physical therapist...majoring in exercise science.
