Biography
Previous Collegiate Experience: Played her freshman and sophomore seasons at Butte College for coach Tony Salingdong...named the 2013 Lady Roadrunner Female Athlete of the Year...Led team to undefeated Golden Valley Conference championships in 2008 and 2012...scored 17 goals and 7 assists as a sophomore and claimed the Butte College school record for career scoring with 33 goals and 80 points..scored four goals in a game against Hartnell College on October 27, 2012...also ran track for the Lady Roadrunners, breaking the school 400m record.
Katie spent three years (2009-2011) on a mission trip in Peru.
High School Experience: Did not play soccer while in high school...played basketball and ran cross country and track at Oroville High...named the Tigers Track & Field Athlete of the Year as a senior in 2008...won the CIF-Northern Section Championship and qualified for state in the triple jump and 4x400m relay.
Personal: Born on August 17, 1990 in Paradise, Calif...daughter of Tina and Wayne Brandt...enjoys deer and turkey hunting...majoring in exercise science.
