TJ Wright joined the cross country coaching staff before the 2018 season.
A 2018 graduate of NCU, Wright had a highly decorated career with the Beacons, earning three All-CCC honors during his career. In 2016 he added an NAIA All-American award after finishing third in the nation in the 3000m Steeplechase. Wright competed in three NAIA cross country national championships and he is the all-time record holder for the 8000m cross country race (24 minutes, 46 seconds).
Wright was a three-time Academic All-CCC selection and graduated with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. Wright is married to another former NCU runner, Rosa (Schmidt) Wright.
