Biography
2014: Competed in the Long Jump as a junior...tied her own school record at the CCC Championship with a launch of 5.41m.
2013: Competed in the Long Jump as a sophomore...broke her own school record with a 5.41m jump at the Titan Twilight....qualified for the CCC championship.
2012: Became NCU's first ever Long Jumper as a freshman...established a school-record of 4.91m at the Jenn Boyman Invitational, qualifying for the CCC championship.
High School Experience: Ran four years on varsity at Creswell High...is the school record holder in the long jump...was the individual district champion in the long jump, triple jump, 100m and 200m...earned All-State honorable mention for track three times...also played volleyball, softball, and basketball at Creswell, earning multiple all-league honors.
Personal: Born on February 10, 1993 in Springfield, Ore...daughter of Michelle and Joe Schmidt...enjoys painting landscapes and making pottery...aspires to become a physical therapist or athletic trainer...majoring in exercise science.
