Biography
2008-2009: [Cross Country] Ran in five races for the Beacons as a sophomore...ran a personal-best 20:12 at the NCU Invitational, taking 21st place. [Track] Did not participate in track due to participation in study abroad program in Spain.
2007-2008: Did not participate in cross country for the Beacons...earned All-Conference Scholar Athlete honors in women's soccer and women's distance track.
High School Experience: Did not run cross country or track in high school. Played four years on varsity girls soccer at Philomath High for coach John Williams...earned the coaches award as a sophomore...named Most Inspirational as a senior and was a First-Team All-District 5 selection...scored seven goals as a senior and made it to the semifinals of the 3A girls soccer for three straight years...also played basketball for the Warriors, earning All-League honorable mention.
Personal: Born on March 30, 1988 in Corvallis, OR...daughter of Lisa and Kelly Howard...enjoys baking and shopping, playing cards and going to the movies...favorite TV show is The Amazing Race...favorite music group is Mercy Me...aspires to worl as a public relations specialist or a missions coordinator...majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
