Biography

2018: Competed in distance events as a senior...set a season-best 20:37.20 in the 500m at the CCC Championships to finish 13th. 

2017: Ran in two races as a senior...set a season-best 19:33 at the CCC Championship...earned Academic All-CCC and Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete honors. 

2016-2017: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in all six races as a junior, scoring points in each race...took tenth place at the CCC Championship to earn All-Conference honors...recorded a season-best 17:52 at the Inland Empire Challenge, taking sixth place...took 33rd place at the NAIA National Championships. TRACK & FIELD - Competed in 5000m and 10000m events as a junior before a season-ending injury...qualified for conference and NAIA in both disciplines.

2015-2016: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in six events during sophomore season, scoring points all six times...set personal record of 17:44 at the Inland Empire Challenge...finished sixth at the CCC Championship to earn All-Conference honors...finished 13th at the NAIA National Championship to earn All-American honors. TRACK - specialized in the 10000m but qualified for conference in both the 10k and 5k...set a 10K PR of 36:45.88 at the Erik Anderson Icebreaker...won the CCC Championship in the 10k...Took sixth place in the 10k at the NAIA National Championship to earn All-American honors...named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team. 

2014-2015: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in six events for the Beacons as a freshman...scored points for the Beacons three times...earned a personal record 18:32 at the CCC Championship, finishing in tenth place to take All-Conference Honors...finished 71st at the NAIA National Championship. TRACK - Ran 5000m and 10000m distances for NCU...posted a season-best 18:16.57 in the 5000m at the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open...qualified for the NAIA National Championship in the 10000m, running a 37:34.96 at the Erik Anderson Icebreaker.

High School Experience: Ran four years of cross country at Nome-Beltz High for coach Jeff Collins...was a top-ten finisher at the state cross country championship all four years...was a four-time Region I Champion...finished as the runner-up at the ASAA State XC Championship as a junior...also did cross country skiing and biathalon for the Nanooks...was a WISA champion and Skimeister in 2014...competed in the Arctic Winter Games.

Personal: Born in Noma, Alaska...birthday is October 5...enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking and snowshoeing...aspires to return to Western Alaska to teach and coach...majoring in elementary education.
