Bushnell University

2020-2021: CROSS COUNTRY - Competed in one race for the Beacons, taking 37th in the Bushnell Open on November 6. TRACK - Competed in 200m, 400m and relay events for the Beacons during her final season...ran at the CCC Championship as a member of the 4x100m relay team, taking sixth place. 

2019-2020: CROSS COUNTRY- Ran in all five races for the Beacons during her junior season. TRACK- Participated in both indoor and outdoor track as a junior. 

2018-2019: CROSS COUNTRY- Ran in four races for the Beacons during her sophomore year...set a personal record of 23:12 at the CCC Championship. TRACK - Ran 200m, 400m, and 4x400m relays...set a 200m personal record at 27.85 at the Linfield Open...qualified for the CCC Championship in the 400m...earned Academic All-CCC honors. 

2017-2018: XC - Did not compete in Cross Country as a freshman. TRACK - Competed in multiple distances for the Beacons as a freshman...set a 200m personal record of 28.51 at the Linfield Open...established a 400m PR (1:02.73) at the Pacific Preview...qualified for conference in the 200m. 

High School Experience: Played three years on varsity at Century High for coaches Jennifer Monnig and John Gill...also played basketball and cross country for the Jaguars, earning most inspirational honors in cross country. 

Personal: Born on February 20...daughter of Amanda Lay...enjoys writing and studying song lyrics...plays drums and guitar...aspires to become a police officer and possibly an English teacher...majoring in English.
