2011: Ran in three races for the Beacons as a junior...ran a NCU personal best 20:43 at the Willamette Invitational on October 1st.
Previous Collegiate Experience: Ran her freshman and sophomore seasons at Scottsdale CC for coach Josh Trask...took 12th place at regionals and 15th place at NJCCA as a sophomore...in track, won the regional championship in the 10k and took 3rd in the region for the 5k...finished 9th at the NJCCA Nationals for the 10K and tenth for the 5k.
Personal: Born on May 16, 1990 in Tucson, Ariz...daughter of Maura Fernandez and Morey Fernandez...enjoys playing the guitar and flute...majoring in exercise science.
