Bushnell University

Rusty Cottrell has been a part of the women's basketball coaching staff since 2014 and is an integral part of the programs recruiting and day-to-day operations. 

Cottrell came to Bushnell from Springfield High School where he was on the women's varsity staff for three years, helping guide the Mercedes Russell led Millers to a pair of state championships and three appearances in the state championship game. Prior to that he worked as an assistant at North Eugene High, his alma mater. 

Cottrell played collegiately for two years at Blue Mountain Community College.
