High School Experience: Played four years on varsity at Pioneer High for coaches Linda and Brian Merida...named defensive MVP as a freshman...named offensive MVP as a senior...batted .456 as a senior with 36 hits, 15 stolen bases, and 19 RBI...had two home runs including a grand slam against her rival team...also played basketball and rugby for the Patriots, earning MVP honors for basketball.
