2026: Played in 14 games, making nine starts as a sophomore...earned Academic All-CCC and NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors...named to the Athletic Director's honor roll both semesters and was a Distinguished Scholar Athlete (4.0 GPA) in the fall.

2025: Played in 30 games as a freshman, making 28 starts...recorded 11 RBI...voted Most Improved...named to the Athletic Director's honor roll as a Distinguished Scholar Athlete (4.0 GPA) in the spring. 

High School Experience: Played three years on varsity at Hood River Valley High for fcoach Madelynn Vallejo...earned First-Team All-Northwest Oregon Conference honors and was an Oregon 5A All-State third-team player...hit two grand slams in her career...also played basketball and volleyball for the Eagles and was an all-league honoree for both. 

Personal: Born on February 15...daughter of Sheri and Ricardo Castaneda...enjoys being outdoors, shopping, listening to music and driving...majoring in Sports Management.
