High School Experience: Played three years on varsity at Hood River Valley High for fcoach Madelynn Vallejo...earned First-Team All-Northwest Oregon Conference honors and was an Oregon 5A All-State third-team player...hit two grand slams in her career...also played basketball and volleyball for the Eagles and was an all-league honoree for both. 

Personal: Born on February 15...daughter of Sheri and Ricardo Castaneda...enjoys being outdoors, shopping, listening to music and driving...majoring in Sports Management.
