Biography
2014: Threw shot put, discus, and javelin for the Beacons as a freshman...set shot put PR (10.27m) at the Lane Twilight...set Discus PR (26.32m) at the Jen Boyman Invite...set Javelin PR (36.57m) at the Lane Twilight.
High School Experience: Threw for four years at Harrisburg HS for coach Scott Phelps...held personal bests in the Javelin (127'), Discus (96'), and Shot Put ('34)...also played football and basketball for the Eagles.
Personal: Born on November 8, 1993 in Coos Bay, Ore...son of Mardell and James Ray...enjoys playing the trombone and guitar...aspires to become a high school history teacher...majoring in secondary education.Â
