Biography
2016-2017: Ran 800m events for the Beacons...set a PRI of 1:59.53 at the Lane Preview.
2015-2016: Attended NCU but did not compete.
2014-2015: Redshirted his first year at NCU in both Cross Country and Track & Field.
High School Experience: Ran four years of cross country and track at Union High for coach Eschels...named team captain and Most Inspirational for cross country...took 2nd place at districts in the 2-mile as a junior (9:59)...ran a personal best 16:21 in the 5000m as a senior...also played basketball for the Titans.
Personal: Born in Vancouver, Washington...birthday is May 25...son of Sandy and Kevin Sparks...enjoys anything outdoors...majoring in exercise science.
